Complete Pump Control System based on VFD phase conversion offering the following features:
-
Convert 230 volt single phase power to operate 230 volt 3 phase motors with a three phase power converter!
- Most people know about using variable frequency drives (VFD) to change and / or control motor speed. However, a variable frequency converter can also be used to convert 230 volt single phase power to 230 volt three phase for operating 3 phase motors.
- In areas that only have single phase power available and the cost prohibits having the local power utility company bring a 3 phase power converter to the job site, using a variable frequency converter is an economical alternative.
- Much more reliable than a rotating or static phase converter
- Unlike a rotating or static phase converter, a variable frequency converter provides balanced loading on the motor
- When compared to rotating or static phase converters, the variable frequency converter provides increased starting torque
- Complete integrated pump control system with VFD(s) or "piggy-back" VFD(s) panel for add on to existing control panels
- Simplex / Duplex / Triplex / Quadraplex applicatons
- Available with intrinsically safe level control circuits
- Easy to follow AutoCAD schematic drawings
- Wall / floor / pedestal / piggy-back mount
- UL listed for application
- QMC builds VFD phase conversion pump control systems.
